East Jakarta Administration has deployed personnel for prone to flood areas. The effort is done related to alert 1 status of Katulampa dam last night, Monday (3/7).

“There is no evacuation, but prediction stated water would increase again,” said Bambang Musyawardana, East Jakarta Mayor, Tuesday (3/8).

Bambang added that all related unit have ready to handle the condition as well as anticipating bad weather and fallen trees. Rescue team has been prepared from Sub-dept. of Fire Handling and Rescue, health post, public kitchen, rubber boat, and so on.

“Heads of urban village and sub-district have been instructed to monitor Ciliwung river,” he added.
